Originally designed as a gift for the American-Scandinavian Foundation's New York office in 1952, the AJ52 desk is a unique and modern design, featuring a desk, table shelf, drawers and an optional lamp in an impressive single structure. 

The desk is made of solid wood, veneer and steel, with the table top covered with a fine-structured leather. The wooden shelf features two compartments with glass sides and an integrated stainless-steel lamp. Mounted on the desk's underside is a drawer unit suspended by metal tubes. The thoughtfully designed desk maintains an overall visual lightness with its slim and exposed detailing. 

The drawers can be mounted on the left or right side of the table.
